CAMX also o•ers 13 Featured Sessions during the show this year. ese include •ve moderated panel discussions, all to be held in Ballroom D4: • Design of Composites, Challenges and Opportunities, today, 2-4 p.m. • Automation of Layup and Inspection, Best Practices and How to Get •ere, Wednesday, 8-10 a.m. • Repair of Composite Structures and Composites as a Repair Solution, Wednesday, 2 - 4 p.m. • Adhesive Bonding of Hybrid Structures, ursday, 8 - 10 a.m. • Advancements in Additive Manufacturing of Composites Enabling Real-World Structural Applications, ursday, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Beyond the Featured Sessions, the CAMX conference runs the gamut of topics and technologies, including design, analysis, automation, bonding, damage detection, forming technologies, out-of- autoclave processes, process control, recycling, ther- moplastics and structural health monitoring. To avoid conŠict with today's Exhibit Hall opening at 10 a.m., technical presentations start between 1 and 2 p.m., so grab an after-lunch co•ee and •nd one to sit in on. After a long and productive day at the show, don't forget the CAMX Welcome Reception, 5-6 p.m. in the Dallas Ballroom at the Omni Hotel. Fly-away carbon fiber composites for aerospace Janicki Industries (Sedro-Woolley, WA, US) is emphasizing its ability to manufacture carbon fiber fly-away parts, tooling and prototypes for aerospace applications. Its JBXA prepreg cloth is offered in multiple configurations to match program needs. The cloth is pliable and designed to form complex shapes such as airfoils, fairings and control surfaces. It is durable, cures in an autoclave at 360°F, retains vacuum integrity after more than 100 cycles and enables long out times to accommodate large laminates.
